The Land Dweller was Rolex’s major new collection for 2025. It combined an integrated Flat Jubilee bracelet with a thin automatic movement, a high-frequency oscillator and the new Dynapulse escapement. Those elements matter more than the familiar crown on the dial because they give the watch its own structure within the Oyster family. This page consolidates the earlier release and follow-up coverage into one account of the case, bracelet, display and calibre 7135.

An integrated bracelet with historical roots
The Flat Jubilee bracelet flows directly into the case and uses broad, flat outer links around a polished centre. Rolex connected the concept to integrated-bracelet watches explored by the brand from the late 1960s. Unlike a conventional Jubilee fitted between visible lugs, the first links form part of the case silhouette. Compare the transition from bezel to case and bracelet, the articulation of the centre links and the taper towards the clasp. Gaps or a steep first-link drop can change both appearance and comfort.

Honeycomb dial and open numerals
The dial carries a geometric honeycomb motif cut with fine lines, creating depth that changes with the light. Open-centre six and nine numerals reference elements seen on the Explorer and Air King, while full-length luminous material improves their visibility. A sloping flange carries a minute track graduated to the half second. On an interpretation, check whether the pattern remains crisp beneath the markers and whether the flange, hands and applied elements align with the same radial geometry.

Calibre 7135 and Dynapulse
Rolex developed calibre 7135 specifically for the Land Dweller. It runs at 5 Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, and uses the Dynapulse escapement instead of a conventional Swiss lever. Two distribution wheels transmit energy through a rolling action, while a ceramic balance staff and other components address magnetism and efficiency. The genuine movement offers a stated power reserve of about 66 hours. A conventional automatic movement can imitate the seconds-hand rate but not the architecture or setting behaviour.
Sizes, metals and case back
Land Dweller references are offered in 36 mm and 40 mm sizes across white Rolesor, Everose gold and platinum configurations, with gem-set variations in the range. A transparent case back reveals the movement and cut-out oscillating weight. Confirm the exact size and metal before comparing dial colour, bezel and bracelet details. The case should remain relatively slim, and the back should not add a heavy dome simply to create space for a different calibre.
What the first release established
The collection is new, so small reference differences are easily lost in broad descriptions. Use the complete number and compare case size, bezel material, dial, marker treatment and bracelet together. Check the date at three, Cyclops alignment and crown action. As with any unfamiliar construction, water resistance and timekeeping need testing rather than inference. The Land Dweller’s identity comes from the integration of all these parts, not from the honeycomb pattern alone.
